Shaped from (fluorescent) Plexiglas, the curved lines are reminiscent of waves. The light plays with the surface, is refracted and reflected – and is transformed into bright colors that appear anew depending on the viewing angle.

In this way, the works make the invisible visible: light consists of electromagnetic waves that our eyes perceive as color. The frequency of these waves determines which color we see: Short wavelengths produce violet and blue tones, longer red and orange tones. This science can be experienced in the color-changing reflections of the material – not abstractly, but sensually. The sculptures live from the interplay with their surroundings – they react to light, perspective and the movement of the viewer.
