This calligrapher was produced during the performance “Hair of Encre – Peace” in February 2016 at the Palais Rihour in Lille, just one year after the Charlie attack. The entire work was 10M long and 3M wide. The artist has decided to cut it out in 2020, a year in which the world is in deep distress. “Ink Hair – Peace” is divided into 20 extracts. Each extract is a unique work. Evoking Yoko Ono’s “Cut Piece” performance, artist Kaixuan Feng intends to distribute peace through his “Cut Peace” style.
