“Lost Forest” is a transfer collage based on an earlier work titled “Heritage 2″.

The ‘Heritage’ series is made up of paper collages that tell the story of children and the world they will inherit.
The background images come from “Reflets de France”, edition Raymond Schall, Paris, 1950, and the portrait photo by Bishin Jumonji comes from Zoom magazine from the 1980s.

In this work, the dark forest envelops and hides the child who seems to be part of his environment.
The forest in which the child is positioned is both a source of danger and protection.
The story depicts the survival of a child left in the wild.

Mixed media composition on canvas 130 x 97 cm.
Transfer, paper collage, pastels and oil paint.
