My minimal abstract expressionist art focuses on the idea of accepting imperfections. It’s about finding beauty in the unexpected and celebrating the spontaneity of the creative process. A balance between something beautiful and something raw and unfinished.

I intentionally leave the layers and underlying marks visible in my paintings as I am drawn to remnants of earlier moments. Each work in this series taught me something about myself, leading me to seek a sense of mystery and to arouse a particular feeling in the viewer.
